Alesha Dixon has confirmed she is expecting her second child live on Britain’s Got Talent.
The 40 year old took to the ITV talent show on Monday evening as the live semi-finals kicked off.
Joking that he is the father, fellow judge David Williams said: “We’re very happy, these things happen when you’re on tour.”
Her big news was announced by show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who welcomed viewers to show with a song about the series so far.
As part of their number, they exclaimed: "Alesha is expecting," leaving the crowd to go wild.
Cameras faced the judging panel, with Amanda Holden urging the former Strictly Come Dancing winner to stand up and show off her bump.
However she resisted giving fans a glimpse of her stomach until the end of the performance, giving her pals a standing ovation.
Former Mis-Teeq singer Alesha is already mum to daughter Azura, five.
Alesha spoke to OK! magazine about the possibility of a second child back in 2015.
She said: “Sleep deprivation is the hardest thing. Everything else has been wonderful.
“When you’re exhausted, it’s hard to think of a second baby, but we’ll see! Maybe after a couple of years.”
Discussing being a working mum, she added: “I don’t feel guilty because if I’m away she’s either with Azuka [Ononye, husband] or my mum, and often she’s in her home and she’s happy.”
