Inauguration poet Amanda Gorman has landed an amazing new gig – she’ll be performing at the Super Bowl LV pregame show.
The 22-year-old poet went viral after reciting her amazing work, “The Hill We Climb,” at the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Amanda received so much praise from celebrities and fans alike after her powerful speech.
According to GMA, Amanda‘s poem that she will read at the Super Bowl will honorary three captains (who are not football players) at the big game. These captains, chosen by the NFL, are Los Angeles teacher Trimaine Davis, Tampa nurse Suzie Dorner and Marine veteran James Martin.
The 2021 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will air on CBS on February 7.
