Stacey Solomon, 32, has shared an emotional memorial to her dog, Theo, who died on Boxing Day aged 11. The Pomeranian was a huge presence in Stacey’s household and was much-loved by her children Zachary, 13, Leighton, nine, Rex, two and baby Rose.

Today, the Loose Women panellist told fans she “had been putting off” making a shrine for Theo, but knew it was something she “needed to do”.

She began by filling a large vase- with Theo’s inscription- with water and placed a selection of beautiful white flowers inside.

The TV star then grabbed Theo’s food bowl and filled it with a heart-shaped candle and some pebbles.

In a heartbreaking tribute in view of her 4.9 million followers, Stacey said: “We had a memory plaque made for Theo.

“She lays underneath the magnolia tree. The most beautiful tree in the garden.

“But it never blooms for long, just like you Theo.

“We miss you.”

The wooden plaque read: “Our darling Theo. We were so lucky to love you and we will never stop. Sweet dreams Fifi.”

Stacey placed the plaque, flowers and candle underneath the magnolia tree where Theo is buried.

A sweet picture of the memorial showed Stacey’s other dog, Peanut, who is usually excitable, calmly sat just looking at the tree.

The mum-of-four continued: “I pulled the bench over so I can sit and have a cuppa with her.

“Peanut just sat here looking at everything. He never just sits.
