Cameron Boyce posted a black and white headshot on his Instagram a day before his sudden death .
The 20-year-old actor shared the photo on Saturday, which was from an interview the Disney star did with ID magazine.
Cameron, who was catapulted to fame as Cruella de Vil's son in Disney's Descendants, posted the image which now has hundreds of comments from devastated fans speaking of their disbelief at his death.
The socially-conscious star, who had been determined to make the world a better place, spoke in depth about growing up as a child on TV sets and living in Los Angeles with his family.
A spokesperson for the family confirmed his death in the early hours of Sunday morning due to a seizure in his sleep from an 'ongoing medical condition.'
Fans have been leaving messages in tribute to Cameron, who starred alongside Adam Sandler in Grown Ups, with some speaking of their disbelief over his death.
"Omggg rip! I'm in such disbelief," wrote one.
"I really can't believed this happened Rest in Peac we will always remember you[sic]," added another.
"Rest in peace sleep tight forever missed you was always my fave in Jessie xx" said a third.
Cameron said in his interview with the magazine back in 2018, that even though he loved acting there was always a dark side to fame that he had to deal with.
“For about a year of my life, if I didn't have to leave my house, I wouldn't.
"It was a bad way of dealing with fame, but it’s a scary feeling to know that everybody is looking at you all the time."
Cameron spent a lot of his time giving back, raising thousands for charities after turning to philanthropy to make the world a better place.
More recently the actor gushed about how happy his life was in a poignant magazine interview.
