Loose Women was just one of several shows across the ITV network that was thrown into turmoil last Monday, March 22. During the daily episode of Loose Women viewers were left convinced that regular pranksters, Ant McPartlin, 45, and Declan Donnelly, 45, had played a part in the unfolding drama.
Yep, Monday’s @loosewomen’s madness was down to @StephenMulhern and @antanddec
Many viewers took to social media during the broadcasting, stating that they believed Ant and Dec had taken over a part of their I’m A Celebrity… Get Outta My Ear! segment of Saturday Night Takeaway.
The segment sees the Geordie duo control a celebrity via a small earpiece as they guide them through a series of pranks.
Now, Charlene, 40, has addressed the situation after it was unveiled during Saturday night’s episode of the popular ITV programme.
Taking to her Twitter page in view of her 47,300 followers, she proudly said: “For all those who were confused… yep, Monday’s @loosewomen’s madness was down to @StephenMulhern and @antanddec for Saturday Night Takeaway.”
She followed up with: “Nothing quite like @StephenMulhern turning up at work and making you go dares live on air… All in aid of Saturday Night Takeaway. It was a pleasure to have you, my dear.”
The live broadcast took some unexpected turns as panellist Judi Love, 40, abruptly fled the ITV set in horror after shouting that a spider was close to her.
She then proceeded to say: “I need to go, where’s the producer?” before looking for her nearest exit.
While ITV news anchor Charlene White was asking whether people should be taking their shirts off for their injections, Judi uttered: “or big bush?”
As the group were talking about people posing for pictures while having their coronavirus vaccination, comedian Judi looked horrified as she quickly jumped from her seat while screaming: “Argh, spider, spider!”
Her co-panellist Jane Moore, 58, also got involved in the action, noting that when she was administered her vaccine at a pharmacy, she turned up with “fishy breath” after eating fish fingers for her lunch.
Jane proceeded to go one step further and sniffed her armpits live on air as the group discussed their appearance while visiting their doctors.
The former royal correspondent shocked viewers, even more, when she stood up after complaining about suffering from cramp before exercising her foot in a bid to reduce the cramping.

However, the chaos soon went further during an interview with actress and presenter Emily Atack who was appearing on the daytime programme to discuss her appearance on the new show, This Is My House, alongside Judi.
While looking perplexed as Emily spoke, Charlene interjected, adding: “I need to know. I’m so confused.
“You guys are obviously talking so lovely about the show but I really need to know what the show is actually about.”
A somewhat bewildered Atack, 31, replied: “Good point, yeah, I keep forgetting nobody else knows, right.”
As the episode was beamed across the nation, viewers flocked to social media to express their concerns, with one penning: “Did anyone else notice all the weird behaviour on #Lorraine #ThisMorning #LooseWomen today? Seemed as though #SaturdayNightTakeaway #getoutofmyear were playing a prank!!! “
A second added: “Loose Women yesterday was even worse either [an] Ant and Dec joke or they are under hypnosis.”
“@loosewomen were also at it this afternoon seemed unprofessional but now seeing this if @antanddec were responsible they will need to edit the laughs in”, commented another.
While a fourth tweeted: “I’m calling it out….there is Ant & Dec interference on day time ITV today. Lorraine has cramp. Holly says moist, and Phil has cramp on this morning. Loose Women say moist and Jane has cramp, they are up to no good!”
“The newsreader looks nervous… I’m sure @antanddec are going to be in her ear any moment now… #itvnews #LooseWomen #ThisMorning #lorraine.”
