Denise Van Outen's ex-fiancé Edde Boxshall is said to be "desperate" to win her back following their recent split.
The Only Way Is Essex voice over star Denise, 47, confirmed her break-up from Eddie, also 40, after it was reported he had been messaging other women.
Following the breakdown of their seven year romance, during which the pair were planning to wed, Eddie is said to be hopeful he had win Dancing on Ice star Denise back.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Eddie is convinced he can win Denise back and isn’t willing to throw away all of their memories together. He’s pulling out all the stops to save their relationship.
“He feels terrible and pained that she’s hurting. He is desperate to gain her forgiveness and knows there are a lot of deep-rooted feelings involved. He’s not willing to accept it’s over for good.
“He thinks they’re the perfect match for each other and knows he was foolish. Eddie is keeping his distance for now and wants to give her the space and respect she needs.”
But, Denise is said to be determined to move on from the relationship as she was left "heartbroken" by the situation.
It was revealed at the recently that Denise had called off their engagement after reportedly discovering Eddie's alleged betrayal.
A source close to the couple said on Friday: “Denise is both furiously angry and utterly heartbroken. It’s the very last thing she expected to happen after she had been so happy with Eddie.
“She thought this was for ever. But while she has been out at work he’s been sat in her home betraying her trust.”
Following reports, Denise confirmed she and Eddie had parted ways own an Instagram post.
Denise shared a black and white photo of herself walking her two French Bulldog pups Tilly and Remy on the beach as she shared the news with her 603,000 followers on her Instagram.
She wrote in the caption: “Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.
“It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.
“I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made.
“We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children.”

Denise and Eddie began dating in 2014, after they were set up on a blind date by TV star Zoe Hardman.
The couple later moved in together and planned to get married. Eddie didn't propose as they made a mutual decision to tie the knot.
Denise explained last year: “We’re not engaged but we are preparing to get married. It will definitely happen but we’re not in a rush.”
