Fixer Upper host Chip Gaines recently celebrated his 48th birthday on November 14, and his family is showing him lots of love.
In a rare clip featuring the couple’s youngest son, Crew, Joanna shared a behind-the-scenes look at the hardest working birthday card maker in the house. At just 4-years-old, Crew didn’t take making his dad’s birthday card lightly. He kept reading his message out loud as he “wrote” it, and it’s really the sweetest thing to watch:

With a special dinosaur sticker and scribble artwork, Crew’s card is pretty hard to beat if you ask us. Magnolia Network fans immediately flooded Joanna’s heartwarming video with sweet comments like:
With five children, Joanna hasn’t been afraid to share the family’s emotional milestones even when she’s completely an emotional wreck (her words, not ours!). Between celebrating their oldest son Drake’s high school graduation, and “trying [her] darnedest not to cry like a big fat mama baby” as Ella turned 16 in October, it’s wholesome to witness such beautiful moments in the Gaines household.
Plus, after releasing her brand-new memoir, fans are getting to see another side of Joanna that’s super transparent. And we’re all just happy to be along for her journey!
