Foo Fighters‘ latest album Medicine at Midnight debuted at No. 1 on all three of Billboard‘s rock albums charts.
Medicine at Midnight topped Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts with 70,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending February 11, according to MRC Data.
Foo Fighters have now earned five No. 1s on both the Top Rock Albums and the Alternative Albums charts and six No. 1s on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
Billboard said the Dave Grohl-led band now has the record for the most No. 1s on the Alternative Albums chart, which began in 2007.
The success of Medicine at Midnight has also moved the Foo Fighters into a four-way tie with Five Finger Death Punch, Linkin Park and Pearl Jam for the most No. 1s on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
Meanwhile, Billboard said Medicine at Midnight‘s current radio single, “Waiting on a War,” has topped the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, earning Foo Fighters their first No. 1 on the chart, which debuted last June.
