Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall has gushed on social media about how proud she is of band mates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards after they both gave birth.

Both stars welcomed their bundle of joys within just days of each other, with Jade now sharing that her heart is “bursting”.

Posting to Instagram, 28 year old Jade said: "My heart is honestly bursting for my sisters.

"Unbelievably proud of these women for handling their pregnancies like the Queens they truly are and bringing a little little mix into the world.

"Love you @leighannepinnock @perrieedwards. Can't wait to be the cool Auntie Jade lol."

She also congratulated the band’s manager, Sam Coxy and Leigh-Anne’s sister Sairah on the arrival of their own children, finishing the Instagram story post by saying: “What a beautiful bond these babies will have”.

On Monday 23 August, Leigh-Anne announced that she gave birth to twins on 16th August, days after Perrie revealed the birth of her baby.

Perrie shared the news that her baby was born on the 21st, as she shared a snap and wrote: "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21."

She held back giving anymore information regarding the name or gender of her baby with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Leigh-Anne was seen commenting on the post saying: "I am so proud of you and I love you so much. what an angel."

The following day, Leigh-Anne announced that her twins had arrived earlier in the month with a sweet snap of their feet as she wrote: "We asked for a miracle, we were given two… Our Cubbies are here 16/08/21."

Perrie commented on the post: "Two bundles of absolute joy! I love you my Lee Lee!"

In May, Perrie spoke in a Tik Tok interview about the tearful moment where she and Leigh-Anne found out they were both pregnant in a Zoom meeting.

Perrie said: “We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance.

“I was thinking, ‘I won’t be able to do that’,“ she said. “I messaged my manager and she called me and said, ‘You’re pregnant’.

“I was like, ‘How do you know? And she said, ‘Because I am pregnant’. Then she said, ‘Can I add someone to the call?’.

“I just heard this voice that said, ‘Perrie! You too!’ And then we just cried our eyes out.”
