Jon Snow slams Matt Hancock in Brexit rant in 2019
Jon Snow is known as the longest-running presenter of Channel 4 News having first joined the show in 1984. Tonight he will join James Acaster, Stacey Solomon, David Mitchell, Maya Jama, Richard Ayoade and Joe Lycett on the Big Fat Quiz but what is known of Jon’s love life away from his career?
Who is Jon Snow married to?
The Channel 4 newsreader is married to wife Precious Lunga with the pair having tied the knot in 2010.
They said their vows on the stunning beach of private island Mustique and continued their celebrations at the £800-a-night Firefly Hotel which has previously been visited by Mick Jagger and Liz Hurley.
The presenter prefers to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, however, said at the time: “Yes, I have got married.

“But I have absolutely no interest in discussing my private life. It was actually some time ago.”
When they got married, Jon was 62-years-old with Precious being 27 years his junior.
The newsreader has since spoken of how he feels Precious’s “mental age” is older than his.
He explained: “I think my mental age is about 23, recently increased from 17.
“Everybody has a mental age and I don’t think it moves very much.
“She’s somewhere in her forties. She’s very, very mature. I mean, she’s a serious boffin.”
Precious is an epidemiologist who specialises in HIV prevention in Africa.
She is also behind the personalised health education app Afya Pap which has been used across Africa, including Kenya and Uganda.

He told the Evening Standard in 2014: “I don’t know if we’ll have children. I have no idea.”
Jon was also briefly engaged to ITN journalist Anna Ford in 1979.
He first became a part of the production company in 1976 with Anna joining the team as their first female newscaster in 1978.
