Thank you Katherine for my new pet Kune-Kune pigs!!! Best birthday present ever!! We named them Tim and Faith because they’re beautiful and their love is palpable and inspiring. I love them and can’t wait to watch them grow. And no they will not be bacon! They are the newest members of the Friendly Kingdom, select animals including sheep, goats, and pigs who we’ve pardoned. They will spend their entire lives thriving at the farm, until they pass naturally many, many years from now. Historically our relationship with animals has taught us so many valuable life lessons- ranging from the harsh realities of the cycle of life to the rewards of compassion, stewardship, love and care. #godbless #friendlykingdom #farmlife
Kathrine Schwarzenegger gave new husband Chris Pratt two baby pigs for his 40th birthday — but they’ll be staying off the couple’s breakfast plates.
Pratt, an avid hunter who also owns a farm on one of Washington’s San Juan Islands, posted a photo of the piglets on Sunday and assured fans, “And no they will not be bacon!”
“They are the newest members of the Friendly Kingdom, select animals including sheep, goats, and pigs who we’ve pardoned,” he wrote on Instagram. “They will spend their entire lives thriving at the farm, until they pass naturally many, many years from now.”
To bless their new marriage, the pair named the KuneKune pigs after country-couple icons Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
“We named them Tim and Faith because they’re beautiful and their love is palpable and inspiring. I love them and can’t wait to watch them grow,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star wrote.
While the couple lives in Los Angeles most of the time, they frequent Pratt’s farm to visit their furry family members. In an interview with E! News, Schwarzenegger said, “We don’t live there full time. I’ve kind of grown up with a bunch of different animals, so it feels very comfortable and at home, and just a beautiful part of life.”
Schwarzenegger’s animal involvement runs deep. The 29-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has served as an ambassador for the ASPCA since 2018. She is a fervent advocate for dog adoptions.

Look at all this glorious food! We will eat off him for a month. His wool is becoming yarn as we speak. He lived a very good life. He was groomed and shorn, his hooves medicated, de wormed, no antibiotics necessary. Surrounded by laughing loving humans, including children to whom they provided such joy. Nuzzled, pet and loved every day. No stressful travel to his final destination. Trauma Free. Just a touch of a usda certified wand to his head and he goes to sleep. The other sheep don’t even notice. It’s like unplugging a tv. Then Wocka my butcher works his magic. Right now the meat is for friends, family and gifts. Soon though it may be available to my followers as we test recipes and open up to market. Gotta get some things dialed in first. I have found a new passion to add to my many others. #farmlife and jack loves it! You’ll know where to sprinkle my ashes. I’ll tell you that.
