Louise Redknapp is now famed for her singing career and marriage to footballer Jamie Redknapp.
However, Jamie’s now ex-wife’s career could have taken a very different turn as she recently revealed she almost starred in ‘90s hit sitcom Friends.
The 45 year old, who recently said her sons are hoping she and ex Jamie will reunite, hinted that she turned down the role of Ross Geller’s second wife Emily Waltham to appear on Top Of The Pops instead.
According to Metro.co.uk, Louise made the revelation as she performed a socially distanced gig at Clapham Grand.

Louise said that Top Of The Pops was a “big opportunity” for her as investors were banking on her chart success.
She added: “I didn’t have a lot of time and a lot of people were investing money into the album.
“To be on Top Of The Tops with that single meant a lot to me.
“Back in the day Top Of The Pops was huge.”
The host of the gig is then said to have referenced a “Jennifer Aniston and Louise love triangle” to which Louise said: “Yeah, well you know Top Of The Pops was really important at the time.”
Jennifer played Rachel Green in Friends, who was Ross’ love interest, while the role of Emily was played by Helen Victoria Baxendale.
And, in the fourth season of the hit comedy series, Ross sparked a romance with Emily and went on to marry her.
However, as he prepared for his big day in London, Ross’ ex Rachel discovered she still loved Ross and flew to the capital to profess her love.
As she arrived, she decided not to confess her feelings to Ross and sat quietly to watch him marry Emily.
But Ross made a huge slip up during his vows to Emily, where he called her Rachel.
Ross’ shocking mistake at the alter is reported to have been inspired by David Schwimmer, who played the palaeontologist, making a similar mistake previously.
Friends writers Greg Malins revealed David genuinely got their names wrong during a rehearsal of a previous episode, and at the time the writers weren’t sure where Emily’s storyline would go.

Speaking in The Story Behind, Greg said: “His line was to come in and say, ‘Emily, the cab is downstairs waiting,’ something like that.
“And he walked in and said, uh, ‘Rachel, the cab is downstair… Oh, BLEEP.’
“And I remember, I was standing next to David Crane, and I said, ‘That's, that's it’.”
