Love Island and TOWIE star Georgia Harrison feared she’d never get pregnant after horror diagnosis

Georgia Harrison has opened up on her "scary" hospital dash over Christmas, revealing she feared she may never have children.

The Love Island star, who recently addressed romance rumours with new dad Theo Campbell, was taken to hospital on Christmas Eve after a cyst ruptured during her sunshine break in Dubai.

The 26 year old was left in an enormous amount of pain as it infected her organs. Now, the brunette beauty has spoken out on the ordeal.

During an exclusive OK! Online chat about Georgia's new ambassadorship with feminine care company WooWoo, she said: "It was so scary to me because I'm living on my own out here.

"A couple of my family members live here but they weren't here at the time and I had to spend the whole of Christmas in hospital."

The TOWIE star, who recently flaunted her toned figure as she modelled her new gymwear in Dubai, continued: "When I first went in there they actually thought one of my ovaries had twisted and burst.

"When they first took me away they sort of said to me, 'I just hope you're aware that we might have to put you under, we might have to remove your ovaries.'"

The shock preliminary diagnosis left Georgia terrified that she wouldn't be able to have children of her own in the future.

"I was rushed to hospital and I was in a state of panic and all I could hear was, 'It might be your ovaries'…

"Everything just starts going through your head. You don't really know what to do…"

She went on: "I was on my own and I was really scared and I was saying, 'Will I still be able to have children?' and stuff like that.

"It was really traumatic and the doctor was trying to calm me down.

"You don't know what's going to happen when you're in that position. Thankfully, it was just a burst cyst, which infected all my organs.

"As much as it left me really ill, I don't have any serious damage in the long term. I'm just so grateful."

Following the incident, Georgia explained that she would love to have a couple of kids as she told OK!: "In five years, I would like to have three children, I'd like to be a self-made millionaire and earn every penny myself and I'd like to be someone that motivates people."
