Love Island fans blasted Millie Court and Chloe Burrows for failing to comfort their friend Liberty Poole following her intense row with boyfriend Jake Cornish.
Thursday's instalment of the hit ITV dating programme saw Liberty, 21, running out of the luxurious Majorcan villa crying after having a disagreement with Jake over a series of selfies they took together.
And with Islander Faye Winter being the only one checking up on emotional Liberty, enraged viewers of the show couldn't help but wonder why the other women didn't rush to her check up on her.
One person tweeted: "Okay but why the F*CK are Millie and Chloe doing nothing? Like, your friend is crying? Why you just sitting? F*XK*NG COMFORT HER!! #LoveIsland."
Another added: "Where were Millie and Chloe when poor Liberty was sobbing her heart out? #LoveIsland."
A third echoed: "Where's Millie and Chloe did they not see Liberty just take off her mic off??? #LoveIsland."
A fourth viewer was suspicious about the scene, tweeting: "No cus Idk it's strange how Millie and Chloe didn't run after Liberty it just makes no sense especially since Chloe was going in on Jake the other day like it's weird. Usually all the girls are there for each other so strange."
Meanwhile, another viewer did praise Faye for rushing to Liberty's assistance.
"It doesn't sit well with me that Chloe and Millie haven't even tried to comfort Liberty or at the very least see how Liberty is. Say what u will about Faye but at least she's f***ing trying. #LoveIsland," they wrote.
The trouble began when Liberty attempted to boost Jake's confidence and point out how "fit" he was in the snaps they had taken, but he responded by joking everything is always about her.
Liberty was then seen leaving the villa in a hurry as 26 year old Faye followed behind as she asked: "What's wrong?"
Liberty tearfully explained: "If I'm giving someone 100 per cent energy and I'm not getting it in return I'd rather walk out of here, Faye, with my head held high knowing that I stayed true to myself the whole way through."
Speaking between sobs, Liberty continued: "I don't want to stay living here with someone that doesn't like me or love me. I don't want to be fake to myself, and do that."
Faye, who previously told Faye they were "not friends", said: "Lib, we love you," as she pulled her in for a hug.
Jake and Liberty later split and the pair are now reported to have quit the villa, just days before the final.
