It’s no surprise that Love IslanderLucinda Strafford has received a flurry of interest in her inbox since exiting the villa – but we didn't expect one of the stars from Netflix's Stranger Things to be among the people who have messaged her.

Speaking to Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast, Lucinda claimed 16-year-old actor Noah Schnapp has slid into her DMs.

When the topic of which celebrities have contacted her since she left the ITV show first came up, Lucinda had difficulty in recalling who the star was.

She told Roman: “I’m trying to think what his name is…”

Joining Lucinda on the radio was her former partner and fellow Islander Brad McClelland who helped her along.

"The kid that gets taken in Stranger Things," he said.

This confirmed the actor in question is Noah, as his character Will Byers mysteriously disappeared in the first series of the hit show.

"He’s so lovely!” Lucinda recalled. “I think he’s like 16 and he was like 'I love you' and I was like 'I love you!' I don’t know who you are but…"

Conversation later turned to her rekindled romance with Brad. Unfortunately, this was a little awkward as the duo were also joined by fellow Love Islander Aaron Francis, who left as part of a couple with Lucinda.

Their partnership shortly fizzled out afterwards, although the pair seemed cordial on Roman's show as Lucinda laughed nervously when quizzed on each romance whilst siting in-between the boys.

“Brad left, obviously, I had a couple days I was very upset,” the 21-year-old said. In a twist from Love Island producers, Brad was voted off leaving Lucinda in the Villa alone and reflecting on that moment, she added: "I was crying, I was awful.”

Brad shared his upset at the situation too, revealing: “I woke up this morning and I wish we had left together. I want to see where that could have went.

"Not being able to speak to Cind, or ask her where she’s at, I want to know how she’s woke up this morning.”

Despite feeling initially devastated, Lucinda then contemplated starting a relationship Aaron after forming a connection with him.

“At the start when I came in, there was a situation going on also with Aaron and Hugo as well. I don’t know if you guys saw that,” she added. “It just sort of happened. I was like, 'let’s see if Aaron still fancies me' and then we ended up sort of rekindling things.”

Love Island fans will not no doubt be eager to see if Brad and Lucinda can go the distance outside the show.

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
