Gemma Collins talks about Mick Norcross in classic TOWIE scene
Mick Norcross’ neighbour has given an insight into the former TOWIE star’s final days before his death at the age of 57. They revealed The Sugar Hut owner and father-of-four, including son and fellow TOWIE cast member Kirk Norcross, appeared “happy and friendly” just before he was found dead at his home in the Bulphan, Essex by police before 3.15pm on Thursday.
Mick’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed and Essex police have announced they are not treating his death as suspicious.
Since the sad news broke, one of Mick’s neighbours described his passing as a “tragedy”.
They also admitted his untimely death shocked the whole community, as it was discussed in a WhatsApp group.
Mick’s neighbour said: “We have a Whatsapp group and without exception everyone came on when they heard the news last night to say how much of a tragedy this is.

“Some people said they only saw him on Sunday or a few days ago.
“And he seemed OK. He seemed friendly.
“Everyone is really, really shocked by it.”
They also divulged that Mick didn’t have any obvious health issues before his death.
They added: “Mick was a relatively young and healthy guy. He seemed fit and well.
“He was often out on his bike cycling and would stop to chat to people.”
The neighbour, who has decided to remain anonymous, said the businessman was well respected by his local community.
They revealed that the community “never had a bad word to say about him”.

“He was taking on a lot. It must have introduced a number of pressures in the current context.
“There have been periods when people couldn’t build or it was reduced numbers on site,” explained the source in reference to Mick’s work as a property developer during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Mick was wanting to invest in the area and bring in new people,” they continued to The Mirror.
“There’s council land in front of the new housing development which he also paid to be looked after himself.”
The source also described Mick as “so genuine” despite finding fame on reality television.
They said: “A lot of people will come out in support when the funeral does take place.
“I’m sure it will be a local event where lots of people will want to pay their respects.”
Mick posted a haunting final tweet just hours before his body was discovered.
It read: “At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough.”
