Amanda Owen, who stars in Our Yorkshire Farm, shared an emotional post with fans on Instagram today. The shepherdess, 47, shares nine children with her husband Clive Owen – aged five to 20, while her other half also has two children from his previous marriage.
The family makes regular appearances on their Channel 5 show as they detail life on Ravenseat Farm.
Taking to Instagram, Amanda shared a sweet photo with her son Reuben, 17, who admittedly “towered” over his mum.
The Channel 5 star sported a waterproof coat with her golden tresses tucked into a ponytail.
Reuben stood beside Amanda with his arm around his mum as he pointed a thumbs-up at the camera.
The small-screen star had fans welling up as she made a candid admission about her son.
Amanda revealed that Reuben was born 10 weeks premature and weighed just three pounds when he was born.
In view of her 442,000 followers, she penned: “Reuben towering above me! From just over 3lb and 10 weeks premature to 6ft’ 6in.
“From small acorns, mighty oaks grow.”
Amanda added the hashtags: “#yorkshire #farm #family #boy.”
The shepherdess was inundated with messages, as they gushed over the mum and son duo.
Julia Bradbury wrote: “I remember when that acorn was born!”
Elaine Robinson commented: “Think all of your children are lovely and very well grounded. A credit to both yourself and Clive.”
Susan Alker said: “Spitting image of Clive!”

Sally Eaton added: “He was a star on the farm last night.”
The heartwarming post comes just hours after Reuben made an appearance on Channel 5’s Winter On The Farm last night.
Reuben was on-screen helping out a guest in need of a new shed during the finale for the popular series when he opened up about life on the Yorkshire farm in the current climate.
Returning to the studio after a pre-recorded segment, presenter Jules Hudson praised the teenager farmer for his work helping the Winter on the Farm guest out.
“Well done, mate. Great work,” he told the young star.
“But Ravenseat, you must see some fair-weather up there?” Jules asked.
Reuben admitted times have been tough, saying: “Yeah, we’ve had quite a bad time for weather at the moment.
“(We’ve) been hit a lot of snow and ice,” he went on to explain, before revealing how it’s impacted the Owen family.
“So it’s been quite rough for the past few weeks up there,” Reuben confessed on the Channel 5 show.
