Tom Parker, 33, has been inundated with support from many of his 260,000 Instagram followers as he shared his determination to “overcome” cancer, after being diagnosed with a stage four glioblastoma last year. The Wanted singer took to the social media platform this evening, a day after telling fans the amazing news that his brain tumour is now “stable” following his latest MRI scan results.
Today, Tom posted a black and white photo of himself looking deep in thought alongside the caption: “Trust me when I say..I ain’t dying!!!
“I am strong,I am healing and I will overcome this disease,” he declared, alongside a flexed biceps emoji.

It comes after Tom admitted he had “tears in his eyes” while telling his followers the results of his scan.

He penned: “I’m sat here with tears in my eyes as i tell you.
“We’ve got my brain tumour under control. We had the results from my latest scan…and I’m delighted to say it is STABLE.
“Such a mix of emotions . We couldn’t ask for any more really at this point; a year or so in to this journey.

“Thank you for all your love and support over the last 12+ months. Love from Me,Kelsey, Aurelia & Bo.”
Since sharing the news of his incurable tumour diagnosis in 2020, Tom has been keeping his fans updated while undergoing chemo and radiotherapy.
He has also given Channel 4 viewers an insight on his documentary Tom Parker: Inside My Head for Stand Up To Cancer.
Tom had previously seen reductions in the size of his tumour, which is now stable.
He is also working to regain the strength he lost in his left side, which was affected by the tumour.
Tom has a daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, 11 months, with his wife Kelsey.
Tom previously explained in reference to his diagnosis: “You’ll always be classed as terminal.
“They give you 12 to 18 months of survival. But that’s the general statistics. Everyone we’ve spoken to has been way, way beyond that.”
He added: “You might have residual cells but just not active. So, we’ll just carry on, just crack on and see where we get to.”
