Victoria Beckham has gushed over her son Brooklyn Beckham’s fiancée Nicola Peltz, calling her his “soulmate” in a rare interview.
Former Spice Girls star Victoria, 46, gushed over her 21 year old son’s romance and shared details of Brooklyn and 25 year old Nicola’s upcoming wedding – rumoured to be taking place in 2022.
As she appeared on Lorraine on Wednesday 9 December Victoria, who is said to be “disappointed” as son Brooklyn plans to spend Christmas in the US, said: “He’s so happy, they’re both so happy.
“It’s just wonderful, she is sweet, she is kind and she’s such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman and we could not have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady.

“We’re very, very happy. We love her, he’s so happy.”
Victoria, who reportedly warned Brooklyn to slow down his engagement recently, continued: “It’s nice that, with everything that’s gone on this year, for Brooklyn to have found his soulmate and the lady that he wants to spend the rest of his life with during this time, where there’s been so much uncertainty and everything’s felt a little bit sad.
“We’re very happy and very excited and what will I wear?”
Victoria and David Beckham’s son Brooklyn announced his engagement to American actress Nicola in July this year.
He shared the joyous news as he posted a photo of the pair embracing on his Instagram account.
Brooklyn wrote in the caption: “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world.
“I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day I love you baby xx”.
The pair reportedly began plans for a lavish wedding in 2021, with plans for them to marry in an incredible Italian resort being reported shortly after their announcement.

But, the plans are said to have since been postponed due to coronavirus fears.
A source told Mirror in October: “They originally told close friends to save a date in September 2021.
“This week, Brooklyn told his mates they've decided to postpone as it's too risky.
“And they don't want the pressure of having to plan and postpone again, and don't want limits on guest numbers.”
The couple may decide to have a ceremony on their own in order to get married, and then have official celebrations in 2022 according to the source.
