With her numerous work projects on the go, the new mum felt the only way to complete all of her projects was to take less time off work following the birth of her daughter back in November.
It comes after a fan reached out to the star during a Q&A on the social media platform as she explained her reason behind cutting her maternity leave short.
They asked: “Why do you only get three months maternity leave?”
She explained: “I know it’s not long enough. I could be in this bubble forever but I've got one of those weird jobs, and you never know if you’re going to get work or not.
“Nothing is guaranteed, so you’ve just got to make the most of any opportunity that comes along.
“Also, a lot of my contracts are 12 months that I squeezed into nine months so I could have the three months off, and I don’t think I could squeeze them into any less.
“Ultimately, I'm lucky and privileged I've got a job to go back to, let alone a job that I absolutely love.”
