Amanda Holden has hit back at Britain’s Got Talent viewers who complained to Ofcom about her ‘revealing’ dress during Saturday night’s semi-final.
The BGT judge, who donned a beautiful blue gown at the weekend, came under fire from viewers who felt the dress was ‘indecent’ and ‘inappropriate’.
Some viewers even claimed their could see Amanda’s ‘nipples’.
TV watchdog Ofcom confirmed to the Daily Mirror that they received 277 complaints in total from Saturday’s show – with 235 of them being about Amanda’s dress.
Amanda has since responded to the complaints, where of course, she made light of the situation.
‘Mmmm really? Who has nipples this close to their cleavage? FYI a bones corset dented the girls all night,’ she explained.
Many BGT fans took to Twitter on the night to comment on Amanda’s dress and her nipples.
One viewer commented: ‘Amanda’s gonna have a wardrobe malfunction if she doesn’t sort her dress out.’
While another said: ‘is it just me or is Amanda Holden’s dress a little too low.’
One added: ‘Just me, or does Amanda’s dress make it look like her nipples are out?’
‘Wonder how many Ofcom complaints there is going to be about Amanda’s nipples,’ one added.
During the fourth semi-final, the judges put comedian Jon Courtenay through to the final.
After all the acts had performed, the judges had whittled it down to magician Jasper Cherry, singer Belinda Davids and of course, comedian Jon.
And while they agreed that all three acts were incredible and were worthy of going through to the final, they could only pick one – and they picked Jon.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to ITV and Amanda Holden’s rep for comment.
Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-final airs on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
