Boyband star Abz says he wants to find love of his life as he heads star line-up on Celebs Go Dating

POSTERS of Abz would have have adorned plenty of bedroom walls in his 5IVE boyband heyday.

But the singer is struggling to find the same level of adulation in his forties.

And now he is under pressure from his mum to settle down. He said: “I need all the love I can get right now. Trust me.

“It’s like, I’m 42. We’re getting older here.

“I’ve got grey coming out in the beard and stuff.

“Mama’s like, ‘Where’s my grandkids?’ I’m like, ‘Man, I can’t help you right now.’ So I’m just trying to be a good guy. We had the fun, the rock ’n’ roll, the madness.

“It’s time to get into my big-boy pants and find someone.”

Abz, who is now part of boyband supergroup Boyz On Block, added: “I used to believe in love at first sight and all of that. I don’t any more.

“It’s just that wisdom comes with age, I guess.”

Ulrika Jonsson: ‘I cannot bear cocky people. Funny is sexy’

Sun columnist Ulrika says she can't 'bear arrogant people'
Ulrika hosted hit show Gladiators

THE TV presenter and Sun columnist might be the oldest on the show but knows exactly what she wants – someone to laugh her into bed.

The mum-of-four, who hosted Gladiators, has given her wishlist to the matchmakers.

Ulrika, 54, said: “I can’t bear arrogant, cocky people. But shy is painful. You want somebody who’s confident.

“Funny is so sexy and so brilliant. We all want to be laughed into bed, right?”

But any lucky guys thinking they could be her next husband should think again. She added: “I’m not looking for ‘the one’.

“I don’t need that any more. I’m so content in my own company. I know it’s a real cliche, but it has to be somebody who enhances things in my life, rather than takes away from it.

“At the moment, I’m not looking to settle down, definitely not to get married or anything. I’m certainly not going to be having kids. It’s about looking for someone to have the good times with.”

Ryan-Mark Parsons: ‘My dates only ask me about Lord Sugar’

THE Apprentice boss Lord Sugar is currently putting a new batch of wannabes to the test.

But it seems being on the show should come with a warning: It ruins your love life.
Ryan-Mark, who was a contestant in 2019 – and the youngest to have taken part – reckons it wrecked his chances of romance afterwards.

His dates were always more interested in finding out about the 74-year-old tycoon than him.

Ryan-Mark, 21, who was once a brand ambassador for Gucci in Harrods, moaned: “There are a lot of young people who watch The Apprentice.

“So when I date they always ask what Lord Sugar is like.

“I don’t want to be talking about an old man, I’d rather just talk about me. I want them to talk about my personality and the rest of it, not about someone else.

“That’s what tends to happen when I date.

“It’s really got in the way, to be honest.”

Nikita Jasmine: ‘I’m opinionated but there’s a lot more to me’

WILD Geordie Nikita is determined to prove she’s just a pussycat after getting the boot from Married At First Sight for throwing tantrums.

The 27-year-old is hoping matchmaker Paul C Brunson, who put her with husband Ant Poole on the E4 dating show last year, will have better luck on Celebs Go Dating.

She was removed for “aggression” and “unacceptable behaviour” just days after tying the knot with Ant, who she said was “not what she ordered”.

Nikita said: “Paul always said I was misunderstood and that there are a lot more layers to me.

“This show is perfect because people will get to see the real Nikita.

“It’s not just going to be the loud, argy-bargy character.

“Yes, I’m controversial. Yes, I’m opinionated.

“But there is a lot more to me than that.

“That’s why I’m excited – you’ll see a true reflection of me.”

Miles Nazaire: ‘I’ve never dated anyone younger than me’

MADE In Chelsea’s Miles hopes to bite off more than he can chew by dating a sexy cougar.

The 25-year-old has been a cast member on the party-loving E4 reality show since series 15, which was screened in 2018.

He has joined the Celebs Go Dating agency and wants the love gurus to find him an older woman.

Miles dated his Made In Chelsea co-star Maeva D’Ascanio for three years before they split up in 2020.

But Asked if he enjoys dating a cougar, Miles said: “Yeah, always have. I’ve never dated anyone younger than me.

“I am in love with Jennifer Aniston. She is amazing. Funnily enough, she’s not my type on paper.

“I just remember seeing her when she was on my screen and I was like, “She’s my wife. And Jennifer is the same age as my mum, which is really weird. But she’s my crush.”

Ulrika has already said that she is looking for fun, so . . .

Chloe Brockett: ‘People see me shout and think, Nah, f*** that’

ENGLAND and Manchester City footballer Jack Grealish might have slid into her DMs during the summer but Chloe has not scored for ages.

The Towie babe is getting so little attention that she has turned to Celebs Go Dating for a bit of help and guidance on the romance front.

Chloe, 21, wants to settle down but thinks her time on Towie is putting men off.

She said: “My phone is so dry. I don’t know why.

“I think they’ve probably watched me and seen me shout at too many people. They think, “Nah, f*** that.” They honestly must be scared of me.”

But at least she hasn’t had to deal with any X-rated pictures from potential suitors. Chloe added: “I’d be fuming if someone sent me a d**k pic. Those unsolicited pictures are so aggressive.

“Who is going to look at that and then go, “Wow, I can’t wait to sleep with you now?”
