Coronation Street fans convinced Abi’s twins will return as Kevin finds letter

Coronation Street fans are convinced that Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is set to be reunited with her twin children.

The former drug addict was left heartbroken when Charlie and Lexi were taken were placed into foster care back in 2017.

She faced further devastation earlier this year when her son Seb (Harry Visinoni) was brutally murdered.

Charlie and Lexi have since moved away to Australia with their new family but viewers of the ITV soap are convinced they could be heading back to Weatherfield.

Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) received a few of Seb's belongings during Wednesday night's episode and was soon left gobsmacked over a discovery.

After spotting a letter in the box, Kevin was soon left stunned over what it said and he quickly showed Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall), asking him to keep it a secret from Abi, who is still mourning Seb's death.

Later in the episode, Abi, who is facing her first Christmas without Seb, forced herself to get into the festive spirit as she decorated her home with Kevin and his son Jack.

And when Kevin decided to treat his family to a meal at the Bistro, he soon received a mysterious phone call as he stepped away to take it.

During the phone call, he said: "Thanks for calling back, tomorrow? If you're sure… yeah, we will see you tomorrow then. Thanks again, I really appreciate it."

Corrie fans were naturally desperate to know what was in the letter with some predicting that it could be a message regarding Abi's twins.

One fan tweeted: "So either Seb's left a note for Abi that had bad news on it or something like he’s a dad or he’s arranged a Christmas present for her."

A second person posted: "Could Seb's letter be from Australia. Abis other kids?."

While a third person said: "Wonder if Abi's twins are coming back for Christmas?"

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Abi will think she is pregnant in upcoming scenes set to air in the new year.

The mechanic had a one night stand with solicitor Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) behind Kevin's back.

Will Abi tell Kevin the truth or will she keep her steamy affair a secret?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV
