ESCAPE to the Country's Sonali Shah apologised to a buyer whose emotional husband couldn't keep his hands off her.
The unexpected embrace came as the property expert attempted to find the couple their dream home.
A recent episode of the BBC show saw Sonali, 40, take on the challenge of guiding Hertfordshire couple Alan and Jan through potential properties in Devon.
The pair had a budget of £350,000 and Sonali assured them that "buying a house isn’t as expensive as you think" in the coastal county.
With a list of requirements which included a nice garden for Jan to work her magic on, a kitchen they could entertain in and a spot for Alan's workshop – the hunt was on.
The couple had also requested a cottage-like property with three bedrooms, or at least two big bedrooms.
As the trio headed into property number two, set in the Devonshire village of Winkleigh, Jan and Alan's eyes lit up.
While from outside the house did not look at all like a cottage, having been converted from a shop in the 1970s, inside told a different story.
As they looked at the impressive kitchen space with its large stove oven, Alan and Jan could not stop grinning.
With Alan unable to contain his emotions, he went in to hug Sonali, who was happy to accept the gesture.
But she apologised to Jan and said: "Sorry, we’re just having a moment."
As the couple started imagine washing up at the kitchen sink while enjoying the view, Sonali quipped: "I love how you’re planning your life here already."
She added: "I love I got a hug for that cooker."
The host then showed them the garden which seemed to further meet their requirements with a space for growing plants and a shed providing a potential workshop.
When Sonali revealed it was on the market for £325,000, Alan asked: "Can we move in now?
"I could see Jan and I living here very happily."
The couple then went on to put in an offer for the property but were pipped to the post by a buyer offering a cash purchase.
Escape To The Country airs every weekday at 3pm on BBC One.
