Dermot O’Leary hit out at This Morning co-host Alison Hammond on Thursday’s show when she walked away to speak to upcoming guest Paul C Bronson during a segment with Clodagh McKenna. Alison was mortified when she realised the cameras had returned to the studio while she was chatting away with Celebs Go Dating and Married At First Sight star Paul.
After showcasing a range of autumnal table displays from the grounds of her home, Clodagh asked Dermot and Alison what they thought.
“Oh wow Clodagh that is so beautiful. Thanks Clodagh,” Dermot commented.
Turning to where Alison sits, Dermot asked: “Wasn’t that nice?”
Realising she was missing, he vented: “Oh for God’s sake.”

Alison had wandered off and was chatting to the next guest of the day Paul over on the This Morning sofas.
“Am I on the telly?” Alison asked. “Are we on telly? No, we’re not! Has [Clodagh] finished? Sorry.
“That is so rude, Clodagh I was just having a little chat with Paul.”
Pointing at Alison, Paul quipped: “It was all her,” before Dermot added: “I don’t blame you.”
“That’s terrible,” Alison remarked while giggling as her co-host continued on with the show.
This Morning viewers found the incident hilarious and took to Twitter to comment.
@ManaboutLdn tweeted: “That’s how I feel Alison. Waiting for something more interesting to come on @thismorning #ThisMorning.”
@Sonic_Spoilers wrote: “Quite clearly Alison and Dermot couldn’t be arsed with that segment either #thismorning.”

Paul joined Alison and Dermot in the This Morning studio for the day’s phone-in.
Introducing the next segment, Alison said: “Earlier we asked if you needed a little bit of help with your love life.”
“Hang on a minute what were you doing over there talking to Paul? What were you talking about?” Dermot asked.

“I’m challenging Alison, she’s single and she’s ready to mingle,” Paul replied. “I want Alison to go out and approach more men.”
“She approaches all the men,” Dermot joked and Alison protested: “No I don’t!
“I’m actually quite shy I don’t think I could go up to men, what would I say?”
“Be honest,” Paul suggested. “I’m telling you committed men want women to approach them, they really do all surveys have shown this.”
This Morning airs on ITV on weekdays at 10am.
