The rumour mill for this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is already well and truly in motion, with stars from all over the showbiz world being linked with a stint on the ITV show. With Ant and Dec hosting this year’s series from Wales instead of Australia, the 2020 edition is bound to be like no other and, of course, this also means a line-up of new celebs. And now, Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford added to the speculation that Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn is joining the cast this morning.
Christine became a global superstar thank to her no-holds-barred attitude and razor sharp tongue on Netflix’s hit reality series.
A real estate agent at the LA-based Oppenheim Group, Christine has become a popular force among fans and as a result, has been tipped for an I’m A Celeb stint.
Ladbrokes bookmakers, for instance, has the Selling Sunset star at short odds of 5/1 to appear on the ITV reality show.
However, these odds may be shortened further following Alex’s comments while interview her co-star Chrishell Stause on GMB on Thursday.
The apparent slip-up came when Alex, alongside Kate Garraway, quizzed Chrishell about ‘dad bods’.
Alex asked: “Chrishell, quick question, do you prefer a dad with a ‘dad bod’, or a dad with a six pack?”
The Selling Sunset star replied: “Oh, 100 percent dad with a ‘dad bod’.”
Gym-goer Alex was visibly furious with the revelation as Chrishell continued to defend her stance.
“I want to be the hot one in the relationship,” Chrishell joked, prmpting Alex to hit the desk in frustration.
Kate then weighed in and joked: “You’ve just broken his heart.
“Because Alex is really, really toned and really fit,” she added.
Alex then went on a jokey rant about how Christine was now his favourite member of the Selling Sunset cast.

“Do you know what?” he said. “Christine, Christine Quinn, she’s my favourite,
“I hope they put her on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here this year.”
Kate let out a gasp at her co-host’s swipe – but has he dropped the biggest clue yet Christine has already signed up?
Jumping to Chrishell’s defence, Kate kept the debate going as she added: “See, I have to say, one of the things about fit people they say is they’re not trustworthy.”
She concluded: “You can see how fickle they are,” as she motioned towards Alex.
Chrishell did soften the blow on Alex, however, as she added: “I have to say,
“If you have an accent, you can have any bod because I’m American so…”
Alex then cheekily invited Chrishell over for tea “anytime”.
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays at 6am on ITV.
