I’m A Celeb’s Nicola McLean surprised when ITV aired her bikini slip in jungle

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s Nicola McLean recalled making an accidental nip-slip in the ITV jungle.

Nicola spoke exclusively to the Daily Star during a Facebook Live about her time on the show in 2008.

When asked if her on-air nip-slip was intentional to get air time, Nicola said: "My husband asked me that, I said 'what do you think of me? Absolutely not.'

"You get a modesty smock and you can get changed in that but I found a way not to use it, but I obviously just had an accident.

"I don't think they aired it on ITV they aired it on ITV2 on the after thing.

"No, everything has changed so much you wouldn't have half the stuff now even the way the tabloids write about you now and in a good way I guess but there was so much misogynistic behaviour around women especially glamour models back then.

"No, I knew they'd air it but I was shocked."

During the 2008 series, Nicola starred on the show and was part of some iconic bikini babe scenes.

She also asked show bosses to throw her a birthday party for her boobs while on the show after her GG's turned one-year-old.

Now 41, the former Page 3 icon was just 23 at the time and spiced up camp after realising it was her boob's big milestone.

After noticing it was one year since surgery, Nicola rushed into the Bush Telegraph to tell bosses the news.

However, as she did this, she burst in on her campmate and former politician Brian Paddick's private diary room chat.

Nicola laughed: "It was really bad because it was Brian and I loved him, he was a sweet guy but he was in there walking about something really sad like a death or something.

"And I was like no these need to be celebrated and said 'cmon, guys these need a birthday party.'"

But did Nicola, now 41, get any VIP treatment for her boob's big day?

She replied: "I don't think they did, the campmates sang them happy birthday though. I was hoping the Bush Telegraph would give us brownies or something.

"They didn't appreciate them as much as they should have done, they got them a lot of press that year."
