Krystal Nielson & Chris Randone Call It Quits: How Are Your Other Favorite Bachelor in Paradise Couples Doing?

Krystal Nielson & Chris Randone

Affectionately known as “Glitter Goose,” somehow these two — who were both villains while competing on the Bachelor and Bachelorette — found each other on Bachelor in Paradise, leaving the show engaged.

Chris proposed to Krystal on the season five finale of Bachelor in Paradise and the pair moved in together in October 2018. The pair got married in Mexico in a ceremony that was officiated by Chris Harrison and aired on Bachelor in Paradise season six.

The pair announced that they were splitting on Valentine’s Day, saying in a statement, “It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate. Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves,” a statement shared exclusively with Bachelor Nation read.

“We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply. We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this.”

Joe Amabile & Kendall Long

Grocery Store Joe bagged himself a girlfriend during the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise. Kendall initially was hesitant to be in a relationship with the grocery store owner, causing Joe to leave the show prematurely. In a romantic gesture, Kendall flew to Chicago after the show finished filming and the pair rekindled their romance. The pair even lived together in Los Angeles.

In January 2020, there was a call for clean up in aisle ‘love’ when the pair announced that they would be splitting up after a year of dating.

“We have decided mutually to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a joint statement on Jan. 29.

“Joe has made the decision to move back to Chicago while Kendall will be remaining in her hometown of Los Angeles,” the pair told “Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people. We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day. We both respect each others’ decision and still have a great deal of love for each other. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us throughout our relationship.”

Chris Bukowski & Katie Morton

The couple may have left Mexico engaged and ready to start a future together, but it wasn’t all margaritas and sunshine outside of Paradise.

At the September 2019 reunion, Katie told Chris Harrison that she was really struggling with their relationship and had chosen to stop wearing her engagement ring.

Though the pair reconciled in September and Katie put her ring back on, by December both stars confirmed they’d decided to call it off for good. “We’ve reached a point in our story where we agree it’s best to go our separate ways,” each wrote on Instagram. “We have chosen to love and respect each other as friends.”

John Paul Jones & Tayshia Adams

Tayshia made a bold move when she decided to show up on John Paul’s doorstep after Paradise to beg for him back.

She had originally broken up with the trouble-making 24-year-old after he told her that he loved her. In September 2019, the pair confirmed their relationship status, but by Oct. 31 the pair had split.

“We truly did the best we could, but at this time have decided that what is best for the both of us is to go our separate ways,” Tayshia wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “We are the best of friends and will continue to remain in each other’s life because regardless of the situation, we make each other happy💕💕”

Demi Burnett & Kristian Haggerty

Bachelor Nation’s first same-sex couple, Demi & Kristian, had an unconventional road to paradise — Chris Harrison brought Kristian, a non-Bachelor Nation alum, onto the beach after finding out that Demi still had feelings for her — and sparks flew. Demi proposed to Kristian on the beaches of Paradise in the September 2019 finale, and Kristian returned the favor by popping the question on the reunion show.

However, Oct. 2019 proved to. be an unlucky month for Bachelor in Paradise couples, as Demi and Kristian split. The pair each shared photos from their relationship to their respective Instagram accounts, accompanied by the same lengthy caption. In part, it read, “What has always been at the forefront of our relationship is love and care for one another …With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship … We will forever be proud of the impact our love story has made.”

This love triangle is officially just a line. After struggling to decide between Dylan and Blake for much of the season, Hannah finally chose Dylan.

Jade Roper & Tanner Tolbert

The golden couple of the Bachelor in Paradise franchise, Tanner and Jade met and got engaged on season two of the show and followed it up with an on-air wedding in 2016.

Carly Waddell & Evan Bass

Evan had his work cut out for him on season three of Bachelor in Paradise as he worked to get Carly to notice him. Nothing a trip to the hospital with a fake illness can’t help. They ended the season engaged, marrying in a televised ceremony in Mexico the following year.

Carly coincidentally also found out that she was pregnant during their trip to Mexico and the pair welcomed a daughter, Isabella Evelyn, in February 2018. The pair announced that they are expecting again (a boy!) in May 2019.

Ashley Iaconetti & Jared Haibon

When you know, you know! Well, at least … Ashley I. knew that she loved Jared from the start, but it took Jared quite a while to come around. Ashley spent not one but two seasons crying over Haibon before the pair decided to be friends.

Things took a turn, though, when the pair revealed that they were dating in May 2018, and got engaged on June 17 of the same year.

They wed in August 2019 in a ceremony in Rhode Island.
