Little People fans hail Isabel Roloff as 'real' for showing off stretch marks one month after welcoming son Mateo

LITTLE People, Big World fans are loving Isabel Roloff's latest post, celebrating her stretch marks as 'the roadmap' the brought her son Mateo just one month earlier.

She has been documenting her motherhood journey openly with fans, sharing many candid posts along the way.

Earlier this week, Isabel posted a black-and-white snap of her stomach as she held Mateo in her arms.

Only his tiny feet and her stretch mark-covered stomach are visible in the photo.

In the caption, the reality star reflected on her first month as a mother, writing: "One month of Mateo. One month of motherhood. One month of learning to adapt.

"One month of expanding; my patience, my heart, my capacity to love. One month of watching a little human change right before our eyes. One month of wondering where he came from and how much magic he is made of.

"One month of dreaming about who he is and who he will turn out to be. One month of watching our loved ones marvel at him; this small, special life we have created together."

She went on, turning to her body: "Everything has changed, and yet it's as though I've known him forever. This new body of mine has changed with these new lines, the road maps that led me to my son. Proof that every part of me stretched to accommodate him, and I'd do it all again.

Isabel announced his birth with a photo of his tiny fingers wrapped around hers.

She also shared a sweet photo from his first snow.

In the photo, she and Mateo stood with their backs to the camera.

She held the infant out and over her head, allowing him to look out over the farm.

"Cutest little bear," Amy Roloff commented.

That includes coming to grips with her new body and all the ways its changed since she gave birth to Mateo.

During a December 2021 Instagram Q&A she gave a lengthy response to a fan who said they were struggling with body image post-baby.

The fan asked: "How have you been dealing with this if you are? "

The TLC personality said she was "holding space for" her follower in need of advice.

In her Instagram Story, she rubbed her belly as she lifted up her blouse to show it more.

Isabel described her stomach as "soft" and "wrinkly".

She said she had "not desire to 'bounce back'" to her pre-baby weight.

Isabel captioned the post: "My body will never be the same. It was my baby's first home.

"It shows that I did one of the hardest, most rewarding jobs. I'm proud of it."

She ended the message: "I hope you can see your body the same way. It's an incredible thing."
