Love Island bombshell Brett Staniland set chins wagging as he made a surprise debut in the villa on Tuesday 10 August's episode.
The Derbyshire-based model and PHD student left Chloe Burrows and Priya Gopaldas in shock as he was spotted soaking up the rays on a sun lounger.
The 27 year old told the girls: "You can come and say hello if you like," as their jaws remained open in surprise.
Despite clearly making an impression on Chloe, 25, and medical student Pryia, 23, some viewers cruelly claimed Brett wouldn't be able to turn heads.
One critic wrote on Twitter: "Brett is supposed to be a bombshell? He looks like he just got lost on the way to Oxford!"
Another added: "Nah im not being a #cyberbully but we all know no ones head is turning for Brett #loveisland".
While a third predicted Brett would be dumped at the next recoupling as they said: "brett being brought in and then dumped in the space of 2 episodes #LoveIsland".
Now, Brett's modelling agency have slammed the "jealous" social media users who have mocked the star.
Alex Haddad, of BMA Models, told Daily Star: "You're always gonna get criticism. In a way, every single human being is Marmite to someone else – they either like or dislike him for whatever reason.
"I just think it's unnecessary, especially if they don't know the person personally. What gives you the right to judge someone if you don't know him?
"I think that's disrespectful to him, and it all comes down to one thing – jealousy. That's all it is, it's jealousy."
Alex added that Brett, who has a twin brother, will not be phased by the comments on social media.

He went on: "I find it very unfair to criticise someone if you don't personally know them, but that's the world of social media and you can't do anything about it.
"You're always going to get someone who says 'he's not hot, he's not well spoken', or 'his accent's rubbish' or 'he doesn't know what he's doing, he shouldn't be in there' or whatever, but that's just online banter and chatter.
"I don't think it will affect him. He's a very strong-minded guy, he's an adult, not a child. He's in his late 20s, so I don't think it will affect him."
Speaking about Brett's talents as a model, Alex added: "He's brilliant. He's very on the ball and very professional, always on time.
"Clients are always saying how amazing and bubbly he is. We never have any complaints – he's spot on, and very professional about what he does. This is not his first rodeo."
