Love Island in ‘crisis’ as three more couples break-up weeks before final

Love Island 2019 is looking to have the least successful romance rate in the series' five year history.

Last night's brutal episode saw three couples breaking up and another on the rocks.

First Maura Higgins and Lucie Donlan decided to split with their men at the same time in a bizarre double dumping.

Grid girl Maura told new boy Marvin she felt no spark between them. While surfer Lucie then bluntly told her Casa Amor partner George, "I'm just not feeling it."

Later pharmacist Anna Vakili separated from her man Ovie Oko after a spat about her ex Jordan Hames.

While Michael and Joanna also came to blows over his relationship with Amber.

The three break-ups came days after Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart's explosive split rattled the villa.

The 'mum and dad' of the villa had been coupled up from the very start with the pair looking like potential winners.

But their relationship fell apart after Curtis developed feelings for another girl during the secret villa twist.

As it stands only two couples remain – Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury and Jourdan Riane and Danny Williams.

With the final now only three weeks away producers are rumoured to be 'panicking' about the lack of real relationships.

ITV are said to be planning on running the current series from eight weeks from Monday 3 June meaning the season is set to finish on Monday 29 July.
