Made in Chelsea's Ollie and Gareth Locke secretly fly to Cyprus with surrogate for second go at IVF

MADE in Chelsea stars Ollie and Gareth Locke have secretly flown out to Cyprus with their surrogate for a second round of IVF.

Viewers watched as they broke down in tears after discovering their dream of becoming dads had suffered a setback earlier this year.

But the couple have vowed never to give up on having a baby – and now face an anxious two-week wait to find out if they're expecting.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun from a hotel in Northern Cyprus, Ollie said: "Our surrogate has had an embryo placed inside her today.

"It's going to be a long two weeks until we find out, but basically we just have to relax and let nature do its thing.

"Hopefully it will be snuggled up, very happy, sticking nicely and growing.

"I look forward to getting the result we want."

Ollie and Gareth – who married on Made in Chelsea's previous series – bravely filmed the moment their surrogate told them IVF had failed.

The devastated couple sobbed into each other's arms as they processed the news.

"It was heartbreaking and when we put that on television it was incredibly difficult for us," said Ollie, who first met over a decade ago before dating in 2018.

"Weirdly it brings you closer together.

"You are both wanting something so much and of course it's frustrating when it doesn't happen, but that's when your relationship really matters the most.

"You are there for each other in the tough times and in the good times, that's important.

"You need to make sure you're as strong as you can be as a couple because this is not an easy process.

"No one ever said it's going to be easy.

"We had to sit there and smile at the hospital and hope it's all going to be great – but who knows what will happen.

"It's all encapsulating. It's a big, big deal. It takes over you.

"But we know we're going to be amazing parents. It's just about when it happens.

"That's why we go to incredible lengths to make sure we can have the children we want to look after.

"We have to stay positive."
