Professional dancer AJ Pritchard announced he would be quitting Strictly Come Dancing last year, leading to speculation he would be taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
And it turns out the rumours were true, as AJ is one of the campmates in this year’s Wales-based series.
The 26-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent will join the star-studded line-up alongside other famous faces such as Vernon Kay and Sir Mo Farah.
For the first time, celebrities won’t be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle – instead, they will earn the title of King or Queen of the Castle.
Regardless of how much time AJ spends in the castle, when it’s time to leave, who will be waiting for him on the other side of the “bridge”?
Who is AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend?
AJ is dating Abbie Quinnen, a 23-year-old dancer from London.
The blonde beauty is managed by Apollo Artist Management and trained at the Urdang Academy in Islington between 2013 and 2016.
AJ took to his social media platform to share the news of their relationship in July 2019.
She is also a dancer, and they met when she appeared on AJ's tour Get On The Floor Live.
A source told The Sun at the time: “AJ fell for Abbie the moment he saw her and they’ve been dating for a while now.
“She auditioned as a dancer for his Get On The Floor Live tour and AJ snapped her up straight away.”
Speaking about their first official date, AJ told OK! Magazine they went for dinner, and then stayed at a hotel.
AJ added: “I’m very business-minded so I didn’t really talk to Abbie until the tour had finished.
“I did think she was really pretty and I enjoyed seeing her dance. I’d watch her, then cheer a bit too enthusiastically.
“And when we danced together there was a really special connection – I think that’s why dancers often end up together.”
Meanwhile, Abbie said she was “attracted to AJ from the start,” but that she “didn’t think he would be into me”.
She added: “And he did drop me on seven out of the eight shows!”
Since going official, their relationship seems to have gone from strength to strength.
Abbie even spent the first coronavirus lockdown at AJ’s family home, with his brother and former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard.
