Dancing on Ice presenter Phillip Schofield has recalled an embarrassing ice skating routine he once performed on live telly with Christine Lampard.
The This Morning host admitted that despite practicing the routine with his co-host several times, he was less than happy with the result after watching the clip back.
Speaking to Daily Star, he said: “I'm not going to do it anymore. I've had my moment on the ice."
"When Holly was having babies I did the show with Christine [Lampard].
"Christine and I were persuaded to do a routine on the ice. We practiced and practiced and practiced.
"I thought we were incredible, we went out and I could feel the wind whistling through my hair through the routine and I thought, 'This is amazing.'”
Phillip, 59, went to explain his shock at how slow he appeared on the ice, despite thinking he’d done a great job.
"I watched it back and I never seen anyone go so slowly,” added Phillip.
"And I thought, 'Okay that felt better than it looked, I think I'm not going to do it anymore.'
"So, I've had my moment on the ice."
Phillip went on to offer Prime Minister Boris Johnson a spot on the show.
After being asked who he'd like to see on the show, Phillip said: "Well I think you've got to look for someone who's maybe looking at different career options or different things to do so that they can fill in the extra time.
"So maybe Boris, he has some extra time on his hands."
Holly Willoughby joined in, saying: "And we have great office parties.
Phillip added: "Look at us with our great office parties and, what's more, we have all got just a little bit of cheese."
