Piers Morgan's wife Celia Walden jokes she's having a 'Piers-cation' as he holidays without her

PIERS Morgan's wife Celia Walden joked she's enjoying time away from her husband as he holidays without her.

TV presenter, Piers 56, is currently vacationing in Antigua with his three sons – and famous singer Ronan Keating.

Antigua is a favourite destination for Piers and his family, with the ex Good Morning Britain presenter jetting to the island for Christmas last year.

But Celia doesn't seem to be too jealous – and even told fans that she's enjoying her very own "Piers-cation" at home in the UK.

The former journalist, 45, shared a snap of herself on Instagram enjoying a day out at Hyde Park.

Naturally, her followers were quick to ask why she hadn't joined Piers on the sunshine holiday.

One fan quizzed: "Why [are] you not in Antigua with your hubby! much better there?!"

A witty Celia swiftly replied: "He’s having a boys holiday. And I’m having a Piers-cation…"

Another follower joked: "A well-deserved break from your eldest child then, you need a girly exotic holiday," to which Celia poked fun at Piers, writing: "Ah yes, the eldest. Always been the most troublesome."

But the novelist later admitted she did have a tad bit of FOMO after one follower told her: "Antigua is the better place to be."

"You may be right. I’m having to skip over his posts…" Celia admitted.

Piers' holiday comes amid reports that This Morning Britain are "desperate" to get him back five months after his sensational exit from the show amid falling ratings.
