Selling Sunset returned last month for its fourth outing and it did not disappoint. There appeared to be more rows than ever before with self-proclaimed diva Christine Quinn and former actress Chrishell Stause at loggerheads. But what kick-started their most recent feud in the Netflix reality series?

What did Christine say about Chrishell?

In the grand finale of Selling Sunset season four, there was an explosive argument between the stars Christine and Chrishell.

It had been brewing throughout the latest series so it didn’t come as too much of a surprise when the outburst finally took place.

Chrishell hasn’t had the best few years as her dad died of lung cancer in 2019 and her mum died from the same disease last year.

Then there was her very public divorce from This is Us actor Justin Hartley.

The initial fall-out of Justin filing for divorce played out in the third series of Selling Sunset.

The 44-year-old actor has already remarried his former The Young and the Restless co-star Sofia Pernas.

But it wasn’t only the death of her parents and the divorce that Chrishell had to contend with.

The Selling Sunset real estate agent has recently spoken out about the rumours her co-star Christine had been spreading.

“She tried to plant a false story when I was going through my divorce and I had to have both sides confirm that it wasn’t true and then threaten legal action,” Chrishell explained to Vulture.

“And this was right after my mom died. It was a lot on my plate and kicking someone while they’re down and trying to spread a rumour that I was hooking up with someone.

“Both parties knew that is not what happened.

“They had to pull it, but to try and even put that out there at a time where everybody was wondering what happened and I lost my mom — to me that’s so below the belt.”

Chrishell continued to explain that she had to spend thousands of pounds on legal fees to put a stop to any rumours.

This wasn’t the last time Christine had said something about Chrishell’s love life either, making a comment on her new relationship with boss Jason Oppenheim.

They went public with their romance back in July 2021 and had been seeing each other for a couple of months prior.

However, Christine has said that they were in a relationship long before this.

Chrishell added: “You can understand how that really could take someone down and ruin them when everyone on the internet is trying to figure out what happened.

“She takes it as an opportunity to fill in some blanks that were blatantly untrue. It was many steps too far for me.”

Express.co.uk has approached Christine Quinn for comment.

Netflix has already confirmed there will be another season on the way.

Season five could potentially be out sometime in early 2022.

Selling Sunset seasons 1-4 are available to watch on Netflix.
