This Morning star Vanessa Feltz rushes to hospital as daughter falls seriously ill | The Sun

VANESSA Feltz has rushed to hospital to be by her daughter's bedside after she fell seriously ill.

The 60-year-old TV presenter fought back tears as she told fans she is on a drip after coming down with a "horrible case of flu".

TalkTV's Vanessa – who is a regular guest on This Morning – said her "terribly unwell" daughter is vaccinated and "it doesn't bear thinking about" if she hadn't been.

Posting a video from hospital wearing a mask, Vanessa told fans: "Speaking from my daughter’s hospital bed. She has been on a drip since Thursday. She has ‘flu’. She has been vaccinated.

"The consultant said if she hadn’t things would be even worse. She says to ask you please get your ‘flu’ vaccine."

Vanessa didn't say which of her two grown-up daughters Allegra, 36, and Saskia, 33, was poorly.

The TV host urged fans to get the flu jab after she came down with the virus, adding: "She's got a particularly "horrible, horrible case of it".

"She asked me to do this," said Vanessa on camera.

"To say to you to get the vaccine because she doesn't want anyone else to be going through what she is, and neither do I."

Vanessa's worried friends sent their well wishes in the comments underneath.
