Tommy Fury: Who is Tyson Fury’s boxer brother on Love Island?

Tommy Fury will enter the Love Island 2019 villa as a late addition tonight (Monday, June 3) on ITV 2. The Love Island contestant is the brother of champion boxer Tyson Fury, though Tommy is also a boxing star in his own right. ITV viewers can see if Tommy Fury has what it takes to go the distance in this series Love Island tonight.

Who is Tommy Fury?

The Love Island contestant, 20, is a boxer like his older brother Tyson Fury.

In fact, Tyson accidentally leaked that his brother was a contestant on the ITV series, telling an ESPN presenter: “He’s going on a TV show called Love Island.

“He’s a good looking young kid and I think he’s going to be a hit with the ladies on it.

“He clearly doesn’t look like me because I look like an ogre!”

According to The Sun, Tommy has his brother’s blessing to go all the way on Love Island 2019.

He said: “My brother went, ‘Go on, lad!’ It is what it is, at the end of the day.

“If I’m there in bed and we both have a good connection and feel that it’s the right time . . .

“We can’t put a time frame on things, it has to feel right. I’d be open to it, but I’d keep it under the covers.”

According to The Daily Star, among Tommy’s exes is Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey

Though Tommy has not ruled out having sex on the show, he is less willing to talk about his famous brother on Love Island.

The young boxer said: “I never really mention who I am – as far as I’m concerned I’m nobody, I haven’t accomplished anything.

“I’m not going to lie about who I am, if they ask then I’ll tell them, but it won’t be something I’ll be bragging about because that’s just not my style.”

Though Tommy and Tyson are brothers, the Love Island 2019 cast member told ITV he wants to be known for his own achievements.

He said: “I’m my own man and I’ve said it throughout my whole boxing career.

“I don’t want to be labelled as his little brother, I’m my own man and I’m doing the best that I can do in life and that’s all I’m setting out to achieve.”

His own boxing career has started well, with wins in his only two professional bouts so far.

Tyson told ESPN about his brother’s career: “He’s only just started his professional career, he’s 2-0 at the moment.

“He’s got a big future but it’s going to take a lot of sacrifice and dedication to achieve goals.”

Love Island 2019 starts tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
