When is EastEnders on this week and why is it late?

EastEnders will be airing at different times this week as schedules have changed once again.

Throughout the Euros, EastEnders uploaded a week’s worth of episodes on BBC iPlayer.

Back at the start of July, it was announced the boxsets will continue to be uploaded throughout the Summer. This is because of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

When is EastEnders on this week?

This week’s EastEnders schedule is as follows:

Monday – 9:05-9:30pm

Tuesday – 9-9:20pm

Wednesday – No episode

Thursday – 9:10-9:30pm

Friday – 9:05-9:30pm

Why is EastEnders on late this week?

EastEnders is airing around the 9pm slot because of BBC One’s Olympic coverage.

Every day from 7:30 till around 9pm will see a show called ‘Olympics 2020: Today at the Games’, looking at the games that have played out each day in Tokyo.

When do schedules return to normal?

The EastEnders schedules will air as normal when the Olympics have ended.

What’s happening in EastEnders this week?

Oh, so much drama!

There’s trouble ahead for Mick (Danny Dyer) as he confronts Zack (James Farrar) and tells him to stay away from Nancy (Maddy Hill).

Elsewhere, Ruby (Louisa Lytton) prepares for her hospital visit and Tiff (Maisie Smith) deals with the aftermath of Keegan (Zack Morris) learning she’s had cosmetic surgery.
