Peter Andre reveals secret link to Love Island star he’s known ‘for years’

Peter Andre has known Love Island 2022 bombshell Antigoni Buxton "for years", he tells us in his weekly column, after his children Princess and Junior attended the blonde beauty's first headline gig last week.

Peter and Katie Price's kids – Princess, 15, and 17 year old Junior – enjoyed a sibling night out to watch Antigoni, 26, sing her heart out at the sell-out gig at Camden Assembly in London.

After many saw the pair enjoy themselves at the gig, dad Pete, 49, revealed his friend Tonia Buxton – Antigoni's mum – looked after them on the night.

"You may have seen pictures of Junior and Princess attending Love Island star Antigoni Buxton’s sell-out gig last week," he wrote.

"They had a great time. I’m friends with Antigoni’s mum Tonia – we’ve known each other for years – and she was looking after them during the gig, so it was all good."

Peter continued: "We all know each other and we’re all Cypriots, so we’re all coming together to support Antigoni in her career. Go for it girl!"

While Princess and Junior are clearly fans of Antigoni's music, the star previously proved her bond with the Andre family by gushing over Princess on Instagram.

It came after Pete posted photos of his teenage daughter on social media taken during a family holiday in Cyprus, which resulted in many fans dubbing her the "most beautiful girl in the world".

Princess showed off her golden glow in a black tank dress with her natural blonde, curly hair worn loosely down her back.

"Your hair" Antigoni penned in the comments, with three heart-eyes emojis.

Antigoni was previously signed for Island Records when she was just 20, but later parted ways with the company to set up her own independent label, Sirena.

After rising to fame on the hit dating show, the blonde singer is dedicated to making music her priority and the star has hopes to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

The singer reportedly submitted three of her songs to Greece's biggest television channel – which broadcast the programme each year in Greece – and is now waiting to hear if she's been given the green light.

She said of her Eurovision hopes: "I'm submitting three songs but one, in particular, is my favourite.

"It's an up-tempo, powerful, fiery and romantic track with both Greek and English lyrics."

Antigoni continued: "Combining modern sounds and hip-hop production with Greek traditional sounds and melodies is my style."
