Peter Andre 's wife Emily MacDonagh was supported by her Instagram fans after she was criticised for calling herself a "mum of two" in her social media bio.
The 31-year-old doctor joined Instagram for the first time on Wednesday, and her famous husband was thrilled as he announced she was joining the popular social media site.
However, soon after joining the popular photograph-sharing platform, somebody called out the media personality after Emily described herself as a "mum of 2".
They were referring to the fact that Emily was also stepmother to Peter's children Junior and Princess from his former relationship with Katie Price.
They wrote underneath her latest post in collaboration with the British Red Cross: "You are not a mum of 2 but of 4."
Fans quickly rushed to Emily's defence after the cruel comment.
One said: "Awe lovely to see your smiling face Emily, hope you enjoy the experience of Instagram and remember there will always be keyboard warriors with lots of nasty things to say…
"My advice rise above and keep smiling" (sic)."
Another added: "Your amazing absolutely love you Emily. Such a strong woman."
A third wrote: "So good to see you here…I'm sure you will make a really positive impact on IG".
"Emily you are amazing," penned a fourth.
Emily joined Instagram on Wednesday, and now has 148,000 followers.
