Who Is Halsey's BTS Bias? Here's What We Know About This Artist, Featured in 'Boy With Luv'

With seven award-winning singers and dancers, it’s hard to choose a favorite member of BTS. For Halsey, though, she’s often shared a look into her friendship with each of these performers, including some of her “biases” in this K-pop group.

Halsey recorded ‘Boy With Luv’ with the BTS members

She released songs like “Closer” with The Chainsmokers and “Eastside” with Khalid. In 2019, in conjunction with BTS’ album, Map of the Soul: Persona, Halsey appeared on the song “Boy With Luv,” even dancing in the colorful music video.

During a number of interviews, Halsey shared what her experience was working with the biggest boy band in the world. Vise Versa, the BTS members praised this pop star for her work ethic and her talent. When it comes to her “bias,” or her favorite member in this K-pop group, Halsey can’t decide.

J-Hope gave Halsey a shoutout during one video, remixing Drake’s “In My Feelings” to be “Halsey, do you love me?” When the BTS members were rehearsing for their Billboard Music Award performance, Jimin encouraged Halsey to look at him while they were dancing.

When it comes to Halsey’s favorite BTS member, though, this artist had a hard time choosing between the seven members. In a rapid-fire style interview with MYX Philippines, Halsey was asked for her favorite member of BTS.

The artist replied, “Oh, that’s hard! I can’t pick one,” before whispering “RM.” For some fans, this choice totally makes sense, especially because RM is one member who is fluent in English. That doesn’t mean that Halsey doesn’t have a special friendship with other members of this K-pop group.

When working on “Boy With Luv,” some clips showed Halsey joking around with the BTS members and even gifting them friendship bracelets. A few months later, Halsey and one of the rappers in the K-pop group, Suga, released a song together.

“We put a song out yesterday and today we get to celebrate in person,” Halsey captioned her Instagram post featuring this BTS member. “Best feeling in the world!”

Even when she’s not with these boys, she’s not afraid to talk about and defend them. During another interview, the host almost insulted the K-pop group, but Halsey was quick to clap back. The person asked her what BTS definitely doesn’t stand for and Halsey answered, “Big Time Sad.”

“Yeah, correct. You could have had Bad…” The host then trailed off.

“Talk show host?” Halsey quipped.

The “Dynamite” music video is now available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
