EastEnders viewers saw Bobby Beale (played by Clay Milner Russell) suffer heartbreak on Tuesday night as his girlfriend Dana Monroe (Barbara Smith) broke off their relationship. The teenager decided to end things after her older brother Aaron Monroe (Charlie Wernham) convinced her Bobby was trying to manipulate her. This came after Bobby expressed concerns about Aaron’s behaviour and suggested he may have been involved in the failed New Years bomb plot. As Bobby grows increasingly suspicious of Aaron, he could soon discover the truth. Will Aaron end up beating Bobby up in a bid to keep him from going to the police?
Regular EastEnders viewers will remember over New Year Aaron and his gang planned to try and prevent a new mosque from opening.
Planting a bomb near the Argee Bhajee, it looked as though it would soon go off.
However, when Aaron found out his sister’s plans meant she’d be near the bomb, he confessed all to his father Harvey (Ross Boatman).
As a result, the police arrived at the scene and safely detonated the device.
The police have yet to discover who was behind the bomb plot, but Bobby has started to become suspicious of Aaron.
On Tuesday night, Bobby voiced his concerns to Dana about Aaron’s recent behaviour.
However, she made it clear she wasn’t happy to hear Bobby’s suspicions about her brother.
“You’re still on this witch hunt?” Dana fumed.
“It’s not a witch hunt,” Bobby insisted.
Explaining why he was worried about Aaron, Bobby said: “There was this man who called me a race traitor and I saw him speaking with Aaron, they knew each other.
“You remember that day at lunch when he was quoting the Quran?
“You’ve seen how weird he’s been acting with your dad recently, especially over New Years.
“And now what? He’s got to up and leave out of nowhere after the bomb didn’t go off?”
“It all adds up. I’m sorry, but you know it does,” he insisted.
Dana hit back: “No, you’ve got something in your head and you can’t let it go.
“Maybe this is your OCD talking,” she added.
Bobby replied: “My OCD? Dana this isn’t in my head. Please just listen to what I’m saying.”
“I heard you, now you listen. He’s my brother, I know him and you don’t!” Dana exclaimed before storming off.
Dana was left feeling conflicted after the argument with Bobby and later told her brother about the concerns he raised to her.
Aaron convinced Dana to break things off with Bobby, but could he end up taking things one step further?
If Bobby continues to grow suspicious, Aaron may worry about him going to the police.
Could he end up beating Bobby up in a bid to keep the youngster quiet?
Bobby may soon find himself in hospital with his life on the line if Aaron turns violent.
EastEnders continues Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
