Khloe Kardashian 'responded privately to Tristan Thompson's apology' after he said he 'humiliated' her with love child

KHLOE Kardashian “responded privately to Tristan Thompson’s public apology” after her admitted he “humiliated” her with his love child scandal.

Tristan, 30, confirmed he fathered a child while still in a relationship with Khloe, 37, earlier this month.

Just weeks after the NBA player revealed he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ son, a source told Page Six that the former couple spoke privately amid the drama.

The insider said: “Khloé decided not to respond back publicly, but privately she let him know she appreciated the message.

“She is taking the high road, and while she will never, ever get back with him, Khloé really wants Tristan to be a good father to [their daughter] True, and for him to be a big part of their daughter’s life.”

The exes share three-year-old daughter True, while Tristan is also the father to five-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.

The source added that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is putting their daughter first, stating: “She’s a great mom and she wants her daughter to have a good relationship with her dad.

“So for that reason, Khloé is not going to fight with Tristan or block him from the family.”

Following a month of speculation that the NBA player is the father of Maralee's son, Tristan revealed the paternity results and issued a public apology to Khloe.

He wrote on his Instagram Story: "Today, paternity tests results revealed that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I looked forward to amicably raising our son," he wrote on Instagram.

"I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.

"Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son."

He then turned his attention directly to his ex in a separate Instagram Story slide.

Tristan wrote: "Khloe. you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you.

"You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions have certainly not lined up with the way I view you.

"I have the utmost respect and love for you, regardless of what you may think. Again I am so incredibly sorry."

Maralee gave birth to Tristan's child, a baby boy, on December 1 after months of the pair battling in court.

The former fitness instructor filed a lawsuit seeking financial support from the Canadian sports star.

She claimed in her legal filing that she and Tristan conceived the child on his birthday back in March.

Khloe and Tristan were "exclusively" dating at the time of his affair.

The professional athlete initially claimed that his relationship with Maralee was a one-night hookup, though he later admited they met up several times for sex.

He said in legal documents that they had a four-month affair, from December 2020 to March 2021.

The Sun previously reported Khloe feels "mortified" by the latest cheating episode from Tristan, as he has been publicly caught being unfaithful to her several times in the past.
