Phillip Schofield, 58, presents This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby, 39, on a regular basis from Monday to Thursday. However, when his co-host has been absent from the show, the mother-of-three has been replaced by a member of the guest presenting team stepping into her shoes. During her time hosting ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! with Dec Donnelly, 45, former The Saturdays star Rochelle Humes, 31, held down the fort for her. Therefore, having presented alongside Phillip, the expectant mother has detailed what she would never do whilst sharing the spotlight with him.

As well as being a regular replacement for Holly, Rochelle presented the show throughout the summer on Fridays.

The mother-of-three hosted alongside the likes of Ore Oduba, 34, and Dermot O’Leary, 47, but not her husband on this occasion.

Marvin Humes, 34, and his wife have hosted This Morning together before but are now stars of their own show over on the BBC, The Hit List.

Working together, as well as being husband and wife, the pair have revealed what the differences are presenting with each other and other people, such as Phillip.

The expectant mother said: “I would never run to the autocue and say, ‘Can you swap my line for Phillip’s?’ on This Morning.”

“But I’ll do that with Marvin!” Rochelle explained, with her husband also explaining his wife does things with Phillip on-screen she wouldn’t do with him.

“It’s definitely different from me working with other presenters, or Rochelle working with Phillip Schofield or Dermot O’Leary.

“It doesn’t feel like work,” Marvin told Radio Times in an interview with his other half, praising their partnership.

Phillip has also spoken out on working with the pop star when Holly completed her stint Down Under, “fearing” the new presenting line-up wouldn’t work.

I thought she’d be great

The This Morning host said: “She [did] so well, she really [did]. Holly’s shoes are big shoes to fit into.

“Rochelle slotted into the team at This Morning so well. When Holly said to me she was going to do [I’m A Celebrity], Rochelle was one of the first in my head.

“I thought she’d be great. She’d done the summer with Marvin,” Phillip said, praising his guest co-host.

“We’re all part of the same management company and all in the same friendship group. Everybody knows everybody,” he told The Mirror Online.

It seems Phillip will continue to present alongside Holly for the foreseeable future as neither have announced a break from their duties.

However, working alongside such a star as the father-of-two meant Holly was wracked with nerves presenting Dancing on Ice with him for the fist time.

The pair took on the role together in 2006 and the mother-of-three has said the whole moment was “such a blur.”

“It was primetime and I was stood next to Phillip Schofield! It was terrifying. I can’t remember any of the show apart from getting through it.”

“It was about getting through the links on autocue without messing up! It could have been so catastrophically bad,” Holly continued.

“I haven’t watched it back for a long time. I must have watched it back at the time, over and over again.

“To watch it now, I’d probably cringe the whole way through it,” the presenter told press, including Express.co.uk.

Phillip added of their partnership: “That’s why it worked so perfectly because we think at the same speed, we’ve got the same sense of humour. It works so well.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
