Emmerdale stars Natalie J Robb and Jonny McPherson have split.
The actors, who play Moira Dingle and Dr Liam Cavanagh on the soap, went public with their romance in summer last year, after initially getting together the January before.
Due to the first national lockdown kicking off in March, the pair took the plunge and moved in together for the duration of quarantine.
Metro.co.uk understands that Natalie and Jonny have now split, with Digital Spy reporting that they have not been together for several months.
Jonny, who has been living on a boat, described his living arrangements during an appearance on Lorraine earlier this week.
‘[You have got] everything you need,’ the actor said, ‘After living on it for about four years, I now feel that if I go to a normal house: “What do you do with all this space? There’s so much!”
‘It’s seven foot wide, a traditional English narrow boat. So I can barely stick my arms out! It’s got a seven foot cabin height, so I can just about get on my tip-toes.
‘You’ve got a living area for watching telly or whatever, then you’ve got a place to eat, a kitchen and a bedroom. And that’s it and that’s all you need.’
Jonny also opened up about how he feels protective of actress Mimi Slinger, who portrays his on-screen daughter Leanna.
‘You’re playing the part of a father, so you develop parental feelings,’ he said.
‘In terms of career and mentoring, the kids on the show, a lot of them don’t go to drama school, they’re thrown in at the deep end so it’s important to look after them as much as possible in terms of the process.
‘She’s a wonderful wonderful girl, I feel very protective of her.
Jonny has been at the centre of a huge storyline in Emmerdale this week, as his character Liam married love interest Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
