REESE Witherspoon brought her lookalike daughter Ava along to the Big Little Lies premiere in Los Angeles last night.
The mother-daughter duo were joined by Reese's glamorous co-stars including Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Meryl Streep on the blue carpet.
Reese, 43, and Nicole – who play friends Madeline Mackenzie and Celeste Wright in the hit HBO series – proved their bond goes beyond the screen as they shared a hug ahead of the preview.
When she wasn't cosying up to her co-stars, the Legally Blonde star wrapped an affectionate arm around daughter Ava, 19.
The pair even colour coordinated with Reese wowing in a strapless pink and black frock and Ava a shimmering black mini dress.
Reese shares daughter Ava and son Deacon, 15, with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe. She also has six-year-old son Tennessee with husband Jim Toth.
Stars Zoe Kravitz, Michelle Pfieffer and Laura Dern were also among the Hollywood royalty who graced the blue carpet.
The girls will all be back to reprise their original roles, this time with the welcome addition of Meryl, who plays Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Perry Wright.
Perry, played by Alexander Skarsgard, was Nicole Kidman's character's abusive husband.
The season finale saw the strong women of Monterey decide to protect Celeste Wright from her husband.
Following the death of her son, we will see Meryl's character come to investigate the happenings.
Speaking about the part Meryl said on the Television Critics Association press tour: "I loved this show, I was addicted to it.
"I thought it was an amazing exercise in what we know and what we don’t know about people, about family, about friends, how it flirted with the mystery of things.
"What was unsaid, unshown, unknown, was the gravitational pull of the piece.
"It was so exciting. When I got the chance to join the crew, I thought ‘Yeah!’ I wanted to be in that world. The world that was created was amazing."
The first episode of Big Little Lies season 2 will be simulcast live on Sky Atlantic at 2am on Monday June 10, 2019 (as it airs in the US on HBO at 9pm on Sunday 9) with a more sociable repeat at 9pm that day.
